A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Jackson’s role as Financial Analyst at Contender focuses on the preparation and assemblage of financial model packages, valuation analysis, assessing risk and return metrics, and communicating with customers and internal team members for related financial input and project performance evaluations.

Jackson is a 2020 graduate of Villanova University where he earned his Bachelor of Economics degree along with minors in both Business and Finance. He spent all four years of undergrad as a member of the Villanova Swim and Dive Team. After graduating, he moved back to Greenville, SC where he began working at GrandSouth Bank as a credit analyst and then became a commercial portfolio manager at SouthState Bank where he managed a loan portfolio of over $300 million. While in his previous roles, he was selected to be a student at the South Carolina Bankers School where he graduated in 2024.
