Paul joined Contender America as Division President of the Raleigh, North Carolina office in 2024. A second-generation builder and land developer with 35+ years in the real estate industry, Paul’s contributions to Contender are as varied as they are extensive. His storied history in land development includes acquisitions, contracts, entitlements, development, financial underwriting, marketing and advertising for public and private builders.
Paul’s expertise in contract negotiations, financial analysis, feasibility, and risk management relative to profitable new market opportunities has afforded him the opportunity to work with many of the nation’s top ten builders. As Contender’s Raleigh Division President, Paul’s background spanning multiple markets in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia and D.C. enhances his knowledge of the ever-growing North Carolina landscape.
Paul began his educational track at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia prior to earning a Bachelor of Arts in History degree with a minor in Finance & Marketing from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
