Robert “Bob” Kardos is the President of Contender America Homes, the new homebuilding division of Contender America, where he is responsible for directing the rollout and growth of the division across the Southeast. As a seasoned homebuilding executive, Bob brings 35 years of profit center leadership experience and specializes in the executive management of homebuilding operations.
Kardos has a track record of maximizing profitability while maintaining strong customer satisfaction and team development. His expertise is extensive, spanning land development, architectural design, new home sales and marketing, estimating and cost control, construction operations, and overall performance management for residential building organizations.
A proven leader in the luxury and age-targeted residential home building market, Kardos holds a degree in architectural studies and possesses unlimited general contractor licenses for both North Carolina and South Carolina. This strong background in community development, construction, purchasing, and sales provides him with invaluable experience and helps him lead the way for new and innovative product design and features.
In his role at Contender America Homes, he is supported by Contender America’s infrastructure division, which focuses on large-scale land and infrastructure initiatives and helps shape thoughtfully planned communities throughout the Southeast. Bob’s homebuilding entity remains focused on delivering high-quality homes and neighborhoods within these communities.
Prior to joining Contender America, Kardos served as the Regional President of Beechwood Carolinas in Charlotte, NC, a firm noted as the largest developer of residential housing and sophisticated lifestyle communities on Long Island. He also previously served as Regional President for Epcon Communities and held Division President roles at both Mattamy Homes and Toll Brothers.
